TEAM NOAH

We are incredibly fortunate to be supported by some amazing individuals, friends, family, friends of family, families touched by the NICU experience, and those who have lost, loved and lived! All of whom have chosen to support Noah's Big Charity to help more small babies get home! We thank them all from the bottom of our hearts. GO TEAM NOAH!

British London 10k 2013

The first Team Noah to wear the running vests in July 2013! Over £1,000 raised, with special mention to Scott Fairley for some fantastic solo fundraising!

New Beginnings Big Toddle 2013

Noah's Big Charity Toddle

Continuing their support of the Charity, New Beginnings Day Nurseries held a toddle event in October 2013, involving most of their children aged 6 months to 4 years old! Parents and grand parents lent their support on the day to make the event possible. A big cheer for the tremendous effort from everyone!

The French Riviera Marathon

Run between Nice & Cannes along the French Riviera on 10th November 2013, Team Noah, (R-L) John, Keith, Sarah, Richard, Sam & Ailsa successfully completed the 26.2 miles with high winds and sand storms, to complete the first marathon in aid of Noah's Big Charity. Over £10,000 raised so far, thanks to some fantastic support.

Big Fun Run 2013

Held at Victoria Park London in October 2013. Lydia's (Noah's mum) first outing with Team Noah, following her remarkable recovery. Supported by friends and family the Team raised over £1,700. Special thanks to Suzie and the guys at Office Shoes for their tremendous support.

Dubai Color Run 2013

A 17 strong Team Noah took on the famous Dubai Color run on 14th December 2013. The event involved the team running a 5K course being sprayed with paint whilst on there travels. A very colourful and fun event which raised over £1,600, awareness and a lot of smiles.

Tough Guy UK 2014

Our Tough Guys, John, Rick and Richard successfully completed Tough Guy UK held in Wolverhampton on 26th January 2014, this event is in its 25 year and is gaining a huge following around the world. The 10 mile endurance race, with obstacle course, involving freezing cold lakes, electrified wires, cargo nets, tunnels and lots of running was conquered by our intrepid team, raising £400 in the process!

The London Marathon 2014

This phenomenally popular marathon took place on 13th April 2014! Our team of 5, Jamie, Sarah, Rick, Tash & Rich conquered the very hot conditions and completed the gruelling 26.2 miles! the team were added by some fantastic support in the crowd who followed almost their every stride. With a special mention to Tash Eggleton, the Team have raised over £5,500 (inc GA) and counting!

John O'Groats to Lands End

The wonderful Jim Blackshaw, Angela Wray & Jason Lilley completed this mammoth cycle ride JOGLE. Setting off on 23rd May it took 9 days to completed and covered 933miles. The team were unassisted, carrying all their own kit. At this time they have raised over £1500!! What an immense achievement.

Edinburgh Marathon 2014

Ailsa Lawrie, veteran of the first marathon team Noah who took on Nice to Cannes single handedly represented Team Noah at this prestigious Scottish marathon, billed as one of the fastest marathons in the country. She delivered a PB time of 4hours 20mins and raised over £250 in the process. Outstanding.

Enduroman (UK) Double 2014

This double Iron Man distance event was taken on by a one man Team Noah, Rich Brass on 31st May. Rich was in the lead after the 3.8 mile swim, and part way into the 232 mile Bike Ride he unfortunately had to retire due to a serious eye injury subsequently not being able to tackle the 52.2 mile Run! Gutting for this superman, who we know will be back stronger than ever!!

Color Run 5k London 2014

This took place at Wembley Park London on the 1st June and lived up to the billing as the most fun 5k in the world. Our team of teachers and teaching assistants from St Anne Line Infant School were sprayed with different coloured paint whilst getting around the 5K course and raised over £600! Super Teachers!

Southend Half Marathon 2014

Taking place 1st June, Scott and sister Sam Wallis braved the scorching seaside temperatures to complete this coastal half in great times. Scott raised £170. Top man.

London to Brighton Bike Ride

This extra long 75 miles version of the London to Brighton bike ride called is Capital to Coast and organised by Norwood. It took place on 22nd June 2014. The strongest  Team Noah to date totalling 21 cyclists set off from the London Eye and conquered the course. Over £9,000 raised. Great team: Jon Butler, Joel kelly, Andy Young, Neil Atkinson,Tom Readman,Darren & Paul Suckamore, Steve Kellythorn, Darren Park,Doug Pleydell, Katie Farr, Sarah Masterson, Nine Marsh, Will Hall, Laura Fuller, Glenn Fuller,Keith Palmer, Tom McGuiness,Jana Apps & Jason Lilly.

Cheltenham Marathon 2014

Taking place 22nd June, starting and ending at Cheltenham Racecourse, the multi-terrain route presents fabulous views and challenges for all who take part. This is no ordinary marathon. Up hill and down dale, participants are pushed to their limits.

British London 10k 2014

Jo Fowler and hubby Ben took to the famous London streets to complete the British London 10k and raise over £575 plus gift aid. Outstanding!

London to Southend Bike Ride

Scott Fairley, Brett & Wes completed the London to Southend 52 mile ride in the blistering sun and raisd over £900. They were joined by Andy, Rick & Rich for this Team Noah outing!

Lee Powell took on this epic 245 mile bike ride, completing in 3 days whilst carrying all his own kit and nursing the obligatory aches and pains! Lee's efforts raised in excess of £500!!

Chelmsford Marathon 2014

Well done Alan Packard for completing the first ever Chelmsford Parks Marathon on Sunday 19th October in under 4 hours. Not only a great time, but he raised over £400 plus GA. Top Man.

Billericay 10K

This is a popular warm up to the London Marathon and was a roaring success. We had a team of 7 taking part with two key fundraisers Cath and Lee Charters raising a fantastic amount for NBC!

The worlds largest Triathlon and our team of 12 plucky entrants 9 of whom had never taken part in a triathlon represented #TeamNoah in style. The team have raised over £8,000 to date.

This two man machine came, saw and conquered this famous endurance and obstacle course. Keeping the NBC flag flying on foreign shores! Good Work.

After last years phenomenal success TeamNoah were again represented in this ever growing event. With longer routes on offer, we had riders on the 60, 80 and 100 miles courses. Including two nurses and a NICU Neonatologist Consultant as the backbone of the team.

Kenilworth Half August 2016

Former NICU mum and Charity friend jane Cornish was the one woman TeamNoah to conquer this half marathon. Jane raised a fantastic amount for the charity, with over £1000 raised in this solo effort.

Led by a former NICU Dad Adam Benee, this was NBC largest Team Noah to date. With 25 brave souls taking part they raised over £10K.

Spitfire Scramble 2017

Our team of 5 dedicated TeamNoah loyalists ran day and night through this 24 hour event! They chalked up 166.75 miles between them, earning them a 2nd place as newcomers in their category. To boot they raised over £3000.00 inc GA.

Nuclear Race May 2017

Tracy Steel assembled a team of 12 ladies to take on this tough 7km obstacle course... there was lots of mud, mud and some further mud... The ladies did brilliantly and at last count raised almost £4,500. Well done ladies.

Andy Pearson, a long time supporter of NBC took on the Berlin Marathon on Sept 24th. Thanks to his efforts on the famous 26.2mile course, Andy raised over £2000. Amazing effort!

Essex Police Recruits

Led by Annabel Courtnell, the team of 22 recruits took on a static bike challenge equivalent to riding from Basildon in Essex to Paris, some 300miles. There superb efforts raised over £1100.00!
